Research shows that companies run by Vistage members grow at 3x the rate of those without a Vistage member at the helm.

We’re delighted to announce that Vistage International, the global membership organisation for MDs, CEOs and Key Executives, has awarded its UK & Ireland PR account to PRN. Vistage is very well known in the US, where it was founded in 1957 and now has over 21,000 members worldwide. Established in the UK in 1989, it has a strong base of 1300+ members, but has until now been a ‘well kept secret’ in the UK, with membership growing mainly on referral.

The PR Network team is tasked with building up the firm’s reputation in the UK and Ireland and helping it recruit new members. We will also promote the benefits of becoming a Vistage Chair to CEOs looking for an opportunity to pass on their skills and experience and give back to the next generation of business leaders. Current chairs include David Sheepshanks CBE, founding Chairman of the FA’s National Football Centre, St George’s Park.

Vistage helps MDs and CEOs looking to improve their performance and that of their organisation. Members are organised by location into groups of around 12 leaders and chaired by individuals who have had a successful career in business and management. Groups meet for a day once a month and have access to their Chairs for 1:1 coaching in between. Vistage also organises larger events across the UK at which expert world-class keynote speakers focus on key topics to help drive members’ businesses forward.

Client services director Russell Read-Barrow will oversee the account, which will be run by PRN senior associate Caroline Randle, formerly a board director at Waggener Edstrom and GCI.

Geoff Lawrence, marketing director at Vistage UK commented, “We’ve successfully grown the business year on year and have a great base of loyal members, but we are not known in the wider business community. Having worked with The PR Network previously, our management team trusts their experience in building brands. We are looking forward to a long term partnership with the agency.”

Nicola Imrie, our co-founder said, “There are lots of options out there for business people wanting to learn, but we were impressed with the Vistage proposition which combines peer support with senior direction to deliver results. We look forward to telling the story.”
