As you can see from my esteemed colleague James’ recent post, we are winning a fair few UK clients over the Summer which is keeping us busy at PRN Towers. Just to prove it’s not all about the UK and that we are a truly global company, I thought it might be worth updating you on our international client reach.

As some of you ardent PR Network followers will know, we’ve had a presence outside of the UK for some time and have provided clients with regular comms support in France, Germany, Australia, the US and even as far flung as Japan! Clients like Adobe, Clearswift, Epicor, LogLogic, Ashridge, and others have all benefitted from our global reach. With a growing international membership base, it was only a matter of time before we turned our sights to our first “hub” outside of the UK. Having considered the volume of international clients looking to extend their relationship with us as well as a market place that is mature enough to handle our very different, innovative model we’ve decided to deepen our presence in the US of A.

Although we do a lot of EMEA PR programmes, the opportunity to create a stronger presence in the US became a natural step for us. There’s many reasons for this. Firstly; we find that US clients are ready for the virtual model we embrace, they understand the efficiencies it offers and are already working like this in their own (vast) domestic market. For them, it’s a no brainer to extend this model internationally and we can reap the benefits of this. Secondly; there are a number of senior comms consultants operating in the US – there’s a huge freelance market and we have a good volume of senior associates who are already partnering with us. We already have a strong team of people on the ground ready to help spread the word and replicate the success of our UK operation. Expect to read more here as our plans develop.

This is a project that I am personally really passionate about and something that Nicky and I had talked about initially six years ago when we first started the business. My background was always in international PR and I’ve relished the opportunity to help grow the Network internationally – to be able to focus in on the US is incredibly exciting and something I am personally committing time to over the next few months. We’ve always felt the potential of the business is limitless – our model is so flexible and so scalable that we have a whole of host of opportunity in front of us. Many of our contacts in the US have told us that the time is right to broaden the reach we already have in the US. We already have credentials in the market place and for the first time this year have a US client that we only do the US comms programme for – free call and messaging app Nimbuzz.

And, we won’t just stop there. We are continually looking for high calibre comms professionals in all key territories, so please do continue to recommend friends and colleagues you’ve worked with who you feel will be a strong addition to our PRN team.
